Story ideas

1) Story on Pharmacy robberies in Rochester, NH. I wrote about this issue in Advanced Newswriting, and during the reporting process I kept thinking the story would flow better as a video. This story lends itself to multimedia by giving the audience a visual of the reactions from sources about the issue. This can make the impact of the issue more clear.
2) A community at UNH that does not usually get the spotlight. This story lends itself to multimedia by showing its audience how an organization or group makes progress on its purpose and by visually characterizing the people in the community. This would be better suited for a multimedia setting because a visual of how people work together is more descriptive and detailed than a written story.
3) Story on the views of UNH students about the current presidential election and the diversity in political beliefs at our college. This lends a hand to multimedia by showing how involved students are in this election and displaying their views with their emotions. This gives the audience an idea of how some students are passionate about politics and invested in the upcoming election and how some students are not.
